Rob’s music career began at age 5, dancing and singing in community theaters around Houston, TX. Age 10, he taught himself to play the piano by ear. By age 12, Rob was staring in musicals around Houston, had a few years of voice lessons under his belt, and was composing his own piano and choral music on Finale Print Music software.

Throughout his high school years, he was very active in the choir program. He was the Vice President of the choral program of 350+ students his junior year and was voted the Senior Representative his last year. He had the honor to join prestigious choirs throughout his four years of high school, including 4 years of District choir, 2 years of VA All-State choir, and 1 year of Regional Honors choir; all while staring in musicals at school and around town such as Footloose, Godspell, Fiddler on the Roof, and more.

At age 18, while attending WT Woodson Highschool in Fairfax, VA, Rob proved his talent when he competed in front of more than 3,000 people at the prestigious Warner Theater and won the Washington Post Music & Dance Awards Scholarship for his vocal performance. He also was invited to perform at The Kennedy Center with the best high school vocalists in the region.

In the same year, Rob wrote, directed, and produced his own musical parody of Harry Potter called “Ron Weasley and the Order of the Half-Blooded Deathly Sorcerer and his Goblet…in the Chamber of Azkaban THE MUSICAL.” Over 400 students from around Fairfax, VA attended. Senior year, he earned All-State Baritone Vocalist in Virginia, and was accepted as a member of the very competitive Regional Honors Choir. He even won the only peer nominated award during his high school graduation for being a selfless and kind friend, which he still states is a very important value in his life.

After auditioning and being accepted into all his top music conservatories to all he applied, he decided to attend The Catholic University of America’s School of Music in Washington, DC. There he took rigorous music theory courses, dance classes, weekly vocal performance lessons, and “acting a song” workshops with acting mentor Jane Pesci-Townsend. With the rise of Lady Gaga, he found a new obsession over songwriting and pop music. His classmates began to call him “Lord Gaga” because of his ferociousness while performing, dancing, and playing the piano.

Out of class, he was cast in musical theatre shows at his University and once at Signature Theatre in Washington, DC under direction of Tony Award Winning Broadway director Eric Schaeffer.

After college, Rob prioritized a professional career and took a job as an Executive Assistant at a financial planning firm in McLean, VA and was soon after promoted to Operations Manger of the firm.

Outside work, Rob spent his free time producing live shows in DC, performing jazz and swing music professionally around town, and studying on an electronic music software called FL Studio. At the time, his music inspirations were electronic dance music producers: Avicii, Zedd, and Calvin Harris.

He even formed a creative group called “Rx Loft” that put on shows and made art together around DC.

After four years in DC, Rob decided to leave his stable job and move to New York City to devote his life to be an artist.

Rob lived in the trendy Bushwick, Brooklyn neighborhood with his childhood best friend for three years, building his music business of vocal coaching, songwriting, music producing, and collaborating with other artists in his home studio, learning how to record live vocals and more training on FL Studio.

For his survival job, he was a server at a high profile Lebanese restaurant in Manhattan, serving celebrities such as Bella Hadid and Natalie Portman. He also booked gigs as a stand in on tv/film/commercial sets with Emma Stone, Tan France, Men’s Warehouse, and Whoopi Goldberg.

During COVID-19, NYC was not a safe place to live and Rob and his best friend sadly decided to end their stay in Brooklyn. Rob flew all the way back to Houston, TX to start a new. While at his mother’s home, Rob took online songwriting classes, online voice lessons with his long time vocal coach Laurie Nelson of Fairfax, VA, practiced hours a day on his electronic music software, and started to figure out how to collaborate with artists over the internet.

Summer of 2022, after saving enough money, Rob decided to travel Europe and start his music business online; working as an artist and traveling simultaneously. All the header photos of this website have been taken on Rob’s world travels.

Rob moved back to New York City in 2023 to devote his life to his music career. Rob is currently taking on more voice and songwriting students and collaborating with recording artists with-in the 5 burrows and around the world.
